Best Chocolate Shop Ever , Staff Friendly, professional & very Knowledgeable
The chocolate is to die for, the salted caramel vodka is a must. YES it is a touch more expensive but you pay for quality but it isn’t over priced.
Had the pleasure to visit York for a couple of days and visited Hotel Chocolat , was greeted by a lovely friendly lady, who made the visit very nice, she was very helpful and had a great sense of humour which made the visit all the more pleasant, purchased quite a few items for presents for family and ourselves, always a great selection and very nice aswell but thought the lady deserved a special mention

Would highly recommend, the cookie daughter was great, it was the perfect level of sweetness, and the ice cream was really nice. The delivery was fast, and the delivery guy was lovely. They also included some free sweets in our order, which was a really nice addition. Great service.
Have been ordering from here for around a year and will continue to do so, the food is fantastic and although I live around 20 minutes from the shop, food is usually with us in a reasonable time. Prices are a little high but saying that, you get what you pay for. Thanks Zidane’s, you always make our movie night special.
Ordered tonight, so amazing. Yes it can be ‘expensive’ in some peoples eyes but you pay for what you get – delicious warm cookie dough, cold tasteful, milkshakes. I could not express any more how amazing this place is. I would highly recommend.

The deserts look exactly how they taste, delicious. The combinations of flavours go together perfectly and it is well worth the price. I recommend the milk cake and elderflower drink- gorgeous. The server David was very friendly and welcoming.
Me and my boyfriend got the profiteroles and the red velvet cheesecake, both delicious!
Visited here two days last week and was served by Lena. Excellent and friendly service. Great selection of desserts. Everything that I had was delicious. Can easily recommend visiting them.
