What We Offer:

Dyslexia Rochdale provides formal diagnostic assessments for dyslexia for individuals under the age of 18 in the Greater Manchester and Calderdale areas. All assessments are conducted by a specialised and experienced teacher with an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). Being a qualified and experienced teacher and having an APC means that I am professionally qualified to assess and diagnose dyslexia. In addition, as a dyslexic learner, I also have empathy and first-hand knowledge of dyslexia and can offer in depth and comprehensive support.

I just want to say what a brilliant nursery Tiny Steps is. My daughter is absolutely smitten with the staff and I cannot fault her. They go above and beyond for not only my daughter but for myself and my partner also. We could not wish for better support, especially from the manager Anne. Thank you for helping my daughter to grow, learn and have fun.

I highly recommend this amazing nursery. I am a nurse at the Manchester Royal infirmary. We joined the nursery during the lockdown as my nursery closed. A college suggested Tiny Steps to us as that’s where her little boy goes. We are so happy with the childcare provided, the staff are very welcoming, attentive and kind, I love the Tapestry online app that keeps me updated on what my daughter is doing throughout the day. sharing valuable learning opportunities with us. The teachers are excellent role models for my daughter promoting independence and teaching her to be a kind girl and to learn rules and boundaries.
My husband and I are very happy with this nursery and would recommend this nursery to all.

Just go for a visit and you will be welcomed by the management team. You will absolutely love it.

Just want to say what an amazing place this is. My little boy has had a fantastic experience here for the last 2 years and is so sad to be leaving his friends and staff behind. Thank you to all the members of staff for taking care of him like one of their own, especially Taya and Laura, it really did feel like a big extended family, not to mention Kane, A will always remember the fun dance classes.

We are relatively new to this nursery as we moved to the area. It’s always a worry uprouting your child from a setting where they’ve been settled for so long and happy. We honestly couldn’t be more pleased, Canterbury road have welcomed both our little ones with open arms, and made every step of their settling into this new environment fun, and exciting. We would highly recommend this nursery to others, the staff are professional, friendly, they take a personal interest in each and every child and they couldn’t do more for you.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. My little girl has special needs and I was so scared to send her to a nursery but I couldn’t have picked better. She absolutely loves it. Her key workers have always gone above and beyond. The nursery has accommodated us in every way and has been brilliant. I will be so sad when she leaves. Definitely 5 star and over.

I have worked at the nursery for over 7 years and have seen and experienced positive changes since Mel and Philippa have taken over.
The children and parents are happy, the staff are much happier and it shows in the low staff turnover, as well as the enticing and exciting activities that are planned daily.
The children and families are always put first by management who have an open door policy for whenever parents or staff would like to chat, and two senior room leaders who are based within our nursery rooms.
We have recently had an amazing make over in the last year, which the staff, parents and children have embraced. It has been amazing to watch the children explore in New and exciting ways and having new resources for us as staff members to support each and every child’s learning and development. I highly recommend Canterbury Road Day Nursery to prospective parents and staff.
