Really fun shop to be in I came in with a friend and there was loads of stuff in there to chose from, the man was very helpful and funny and the woman was polite and very nice to us definately would go again

In this shop you’ll find a wide range of costumes, with plenty of sizes. This is a fantastic family-run business. They’re helpful, friendly and attentive. I’ve been twice now and will be going back when I need my next costume.

What We Offer:

Since 1976 we have opened our doors to the imaginations of theatre makers in this country and beyond. Few people know that the Great Hall was once even Greater – in fact, it was twice the size. Tipped as the ‘largest room in the world’, this colossal space was one of the world’s centres for cotton trade until the Second World War, when the building took a direct hit during the Manchester blitz. Reduced in size but not stature, the Hall was repaired and saw continued trade until 1968: if you look up, you can still see the original trading board with the day’s closing figures. We are located in the heart of Manchester.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are keen to help you find a costume. Sadly they had nothing in that fit me (a Regency gentleman costume) but my friend found a lovely ball gown.

I got a fantastic regency costume for a work party here. I had no idea what I needed, or what sizes I needed but within an hour they had me kitted out from head to toe and looking amazing

Fabulous – Last minute panic was averted. Varies items provided at very short notice, big helium balloons, cards, candles & a banner. Saved the day. I will definitely use again!

Found from internet search and went in to ask about ordering balloons and table decorations for a 21st party. Owners/staff were very helpful in discussing what we needed and working within our budget. We subsequently were happy to order everything we needed from this one shop and arranged to collect the following week on the day of the party. On the day we were running ahead of time so we rang to ask if we could collect everything earlier.
