A small, friendly and welcoming family business established in 2005 by my father and now myself Andrea’s has taken over the business to continue the family tradition of serving our regulars and new customers Fish and Chips we pride ourselves on. We are based in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. Traditional Mancunian fish & chip shop which is a firm favourite among locals. We are a family run business which has been in the family for over 15 years. Truly authentic British cuisine with top quality ingredients. Our potatoes are locally sourced from farms in Lancashire and Shropshire and our fish is delivered fresh every week. We also cater for vegetarians – offering gravy and English curry veggie sauce options. We have a cosy seating area for those who want to dine in!

Best chips I’ve had for a while!! Fish fillet was large and perfectly crispy. £7 for fish, chips and curry sauce considering location is a bargain.

As a city centre resident myself, I’ve always been frustrated by the lack of quality fish and chip shops within Manchester City Centre. As a Lancashire lad, fish and chip formed a large part of my staple diet growing up, and rapidly approaching fifty I found myself craving the traditional Friday fish and chip supper that I always looked forward to at the end of a hard week. Having identified this gap in the market, and subsequently managing to secure the unit adjacent to The Village Shop, it seemed to make perfect sense to establish a traditional fish and chip shop to satisfy the need for a quality, traditional English fish and chip shop, in an easily accessible, central location for both residents, city centre workers, and tourists to the city.
