Bread and Bowl

Crown and Anchor, 41 Hilton St, Manchester M1 2EE, United Kingdom
What We Offer:

Bread & Bowl launched in February 2020, conveniently a month before lockdown! However with the help of our amazing customers we created a brand that is now well loved across Manchester.  We are incredibly passionate about supporting our fellow small businesses and that’s why all of our produce is locally sourced with some of our suppliers living minutes away from the farms we get out ingredients from. Essentially you are supporting at least five small businesses with each mouthful you eat, which is pretty amazing right?!  We believe in quality and quantity! Are you Bready?!

SPECIALITY:

Juicy high-grade sausages, thick-cut bacon, and hash browns between layers of beans, cheese, mushrooms, and tomatoes (G, D, E )

Best breakfast in Manchester! Usually, I’m a very fussy eater 😂 but have to say this is the best breakfast I have had in ages! Amazing value for money, huge portions, friendly staff and lovely pub! Will be returning as soon as I can!

This is now my go-to sort out for hangovers (and sometimes when I genuinely feel like it). The food is both delicious and bountiful, you can tell everything is fresh, while the portion size is more than adequate to fill up a 14 stone bloke like myself. Have used it for weeks now, such a good range of options, and when my friend came up who had dietary requirement, Bread and Bowl were more than helpful in accommodating his needs. Would recommend this eatery to absolutely to anyone. Five stars all round.
Cheers!
Brilliant service. We had the ultimate breakfast which was fantastic. Can’t wait to try the other options!

Service was outstanding and only outshined by the delicious food! Thanks to the wait staff who were all great with children and very friendly. Great experience! We will be coming here again.

Nice pleasant atmosphere friendly staff.

The best thing is the meat I took, which was like the Cafe de París, including the special sauce, however the aumount of sauce was less than I would like to have.

R&V - Robert & Victor

85 Oxford St, Manchester M1 6ET, United Kingdom
What We Offer:

R&V is a small team of dedicated foodies, trying to make a big change to how Manchester eats lunch. The founder, Simon, comes from two lines of farmers who worked hard to grow the best food that nature can offer, and since 2018, we’ve been bringing all the flavour of those simple, quality products, inspired by French and Belgian cuisine. I wanted to find a name which would reflect my Belgian heritage but also one which could show the values of the brand I wanted to create. I am so passionate about nature, real farming and understand people’s needs when it comes to food. It was therefore really important for me to have a name which brought together all those things.

SPECIALITY:

Our leek and potato soup is made in-house, less than an hour away from Tarleton’s Homestead Farm, where Gary Seddon grows each and every award-winning leek that ends up in our kitchen.

The best sandwich maker in Europe. Simon selects the finest ingredients from local suppliers and combines them in super tasty combinations that excel above the average high street sandwich. Enjoy 🙂

Absolutely incredible, food is so fresh they specify exactly where the bread etc. comes from. Sourdough is fermented to a good quality and fantastic for those with stomach issues like myself. Pesto is fresh is freshly made on the premises with whole pieces of cashew nuts inside. My go to for having to rush to appointments and run errands in city centre, food is more than reasonably priced considering location and quality of produce used ❤️

A fantastic choice for corporate catering and office lunches. I can highly recommend!
