Matija has been working as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon in the NHS since 2007, most recently at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, which is part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is actively involved in research within Orthopaedics, and is responsible for training the next generation of surgeons. Having treated thousands of patients who have experienced limb trauma he is a globally recognised expert within the field. He has been involved in developing new surgical techniques in treating patients with infected wounds. One technique in particular has been audited by leading institutions and found to have a 100% success rate – the results of the study has been published in the Annals of Royal College of Surgeons in England (2013.

After the operation with Mr Krkovic, I was running up and down the garden again in 6 weeks, the leg was essentially fully healed. This was a miracle, considering I was on crutches for over a year, until I was under Mr Krkovic’s care.
Mr Krkovic is a consultant at Addenbrookes Hospital as well as a number of private hospitals. That was recommendation enough for me! I expected a great outcome from my knee replacement surgery and so it is proving. Remember it is up to the patient to do his or her part by committing to the exercise program. I recommend him and his team without reservation.
Everything he said made complete sense and came away with trust in him opinion (unlike many other doctors we have spoken to), now my gf has had a successful op and is doing well.

Having just had surgery performed by Mr Bhatia I have nothing but praise Bristol Hand & Wrist Clinic. The advice, care and guidance provided was superb. My only regret is that I didn’t arrange to have the surgery sooner.
Dr Bhatia carried out a full ulnar nerve decompression of my left elbow with amazing results. I now have full feeling back in the damaged area and muscle regrowth which I had previously lost. Would recommend to friends and family.
