In addition he is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Human Bone cell research group at the University of Liverpool and also  at the University of Salford.. Mike Hayton is a very experienced Orthopaedic hand and wrist surgeon appointed to Wrightington Hospital in 2003. His clinical practice is all areas of hand surgery (excluding micro) and has a special interest in sports injuries of the hand and wrist. He has an established medico-legal practice and prepares reports for both defendant and claimants.

Mike has been phenomenal. From our first contact with him he showed a real ‘can do’ attitude, whilst giving us a full and clear understanding of the wrist injury my son had and how he proposed to resolve a difficult situation, whilst giving us realistic expectations. He was recommended to us by many people and is well respected amongst the medical community and other orthopaedic surgeons.

Mr Hayton is the best: a construct that has many dimensions which I will now explain. Firstly he treats every patient with courtesy and patience irrespective of whether they are eminent sports people or ordinary folk e.g. myselF.

I have been to Framed for years and one of the main reasons is because of Sarah and the personal service I receive. She recommends frames that suit me and gives her opinion on complimentary styles. Being someone who finds it hard to choose and decide on frames this is of massive help and importance when choosing.

Welcome to The Foot Clinic. We are a family run business based in Middleton. Established since 2002 on Long Street, and moved down to our new premises in January 2020.
