Our private event spaces are situated in the conservation area of Castlefield, located in the heart of Manchester City Centre, minutes from tram and train links and with ample parking for customers. Our spaces accommodate anything between 30 and 250 guests for every kind of corporate or private event, whether you are looking to arrange a wedding, corporate party or a private celebration. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs at Alberts Shed. Natural daylight floods all our spaces, some of which take their inspiration from the industrial heritage of Castlefield, and others which our architect designed and are unashamedly modern.

We recently had our wedding at The Castlefield Rooms and would highly recommend them. We fell in love with the venue when we first visited. It’s perfectly located in the heart of Castlefield, surrounded by the canals and ‘old’ Manchester. Once we met Helen and the team, we were further convinced that it was the venue for us.
The venue is beautiful as well, with high wooden beamed ceilings in the Brindley room, and great space and views out of the Merchant room (plus a gorgeous new wooden floor!). The whole place and surroundings are a fantastic backdrop to photos as well.
We both would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Becky the wedding planner for making our day so amazing. From first meeting you we knew we could trust you to ensure our day would live up to my ‘perfect’ standards. Thank you for all your hard work and prompt email responses throughout the whole journey.

After a sensitive multi-million pound restoration, Manchester Hall now combines traditional structure with contemporary glamour, making it the perfect venue. 19th Century Lock Keeper’s cottage in the heart of Manchester’s city centre. Your local on the Locks. Our aim at Lock 91 is to create a home from home atmosphere. We are a small independent with a focus on quality service and a quality drinks offering. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, launch parties, networking events – we can host them all! With three floors including a canal-side outdoor terrace, we can hold parties as small as 25 people, or as large as 300.

Would have given this place 5 stars but the service was so slow. There was one member of staff behind the bar on a Friday night and we waiting 25mins for 4 cocktails. Cocktails were delicious though and the atmosphere was pretty chilled. There are boardgames and cards, which we played while we waited for drinks.
Amazing bar staff. The bartender, Alex, made an absolutely amazing Bloody Mary. Sadly, you don’t get many places that can make a Bloody Mary from scratch, but Alex took the time to do so. It was hands down, literally the best cocktail I’ve had in the last ten years. Will definitely be returning soon. It’s worth the price you pay. 11/10

Its nicely decorated so not much need to worry about it. Alex was very helpful all night, as were the 2 bartenders. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us all comfortable.

We attended Dr Hussain Ahmad and Dr Alizeeh Wedding, it was a wonderful and lovely Experience. Located in Manchester, It consists of 1 Very big hall, The Hall was very impressive and adorable lighting was in place. It was a massive hall which can easily accommodate 1000 guests, With wide range of flowers collections, Beautiful Curtains and Really impressive dining tables, white candles and crystal clean utensils. Cleanliness was Spot on, Good Toilet Facilities and An area Allocated for prayers having Prayer Mats.

Staff itself was very Humble and extremely Friendly, They considered us as Family members, Didn’t gave us any chance to point anything Bad. Truly Royal Experience, Highly recommended
Fantastic place excellent service very clean and excellent food. Highly recommended couldn’t fault it anywhere.
