Our products are made in an environment where GLUTEN, NUTS and SESAME and other ALLERGENIC ingredients are used. Amazing food, very friendly staff and the quality you pay for. I will always return.

I’m giving it a 4 because the quality of the food was great. However, the process of ordering is confusing. Despite the cafe not being busy when we first arrived, there was nobody present to serve us at the bar, and no signs actually telling you the order process. Initially I thought, as many might, that you order at the tills.

Good value, unusual system, could do with better signage. Food excellent.

R&V is a small team of dedicated foodies, trying to make a big change to how Manchester eats lunch. The founder, Simon, comes from two lines of farmers who worked hard to grow the best food that nature can offer, and since 2018, we’ve been bringing all the flavour of those simple, quality products, inspired by French and Belgian cuisine. I wanted to find a name which would reflect my Belgian heritage but also one which could show the values of the brand I wanted to create. I am so passionate about nature, real farming and understand people’s needs when it comes to food. It was therefore really important for me to have a name which brought together all those things.

The best sandwich maker in Europe. Simon selects the finest ingredients from local suppliers and combines them in super tasty combinations that excel above the average high street sandwich. Enjoy 🙂

Absolutely incredible, food is so fresh they specify exactly where the bread etc. comes from. Sourdough is fermented to a good quality and fantastic for those with stomach issues like myself. Pesto is fresh is freshly made on the premises with whole pieces of cashew nuts inside. My go to for having to rush to appointments and run errands in city centre, food is more than reasonably priced considering location and quality of produce used ❤️

A fantastic choice for corporate catering and office lunches. I can highly recommend!

What We Offer:
Martins Craft Bakers & Sandwich Makers has been a familiar name to Mancunians over many decades. The original Martin was one Richard Martin not, as might be supposed, a Lancastrian and a native of Manchester but instead a very far travelled man. Martins offered an extensive range of continental confectionery, many made using the family recipes from Switzerland. Prices however were very different in those days – the first day’s takings, a figure etched in Nellie Martins memory, came to one pound four shillings and three pence halfpenny.We believe food is the best way to reconnect people with nature. Our goal is to use only natural ingredients, prepared fresh in our kitchen each morning.
