Sushi Waka is an amazing place to try some great Japanese cuisine. Everything is freshly made and amazing thing is that it arrives a lot quicker than you expect. Sushi is lovely, always tastes fresh with a variety options to choose from, there’s something for every sushi lovere.

I came here for my partners birthday lunch a couple of weeks ago and was so impressed with this place. The food was amazing and the staff were just as good. Would recommend (and have) this restaurant to any sushi lover, believe the hype!

Great food and karaoke bar upstairs… What more do you want for a great group night out!!

Would highly recommend a visit for some authentic dining and decor. Not sure about the roof tiles though which do feel a bit like a canteen at school
Absolutely stunning. Was really pleased to finally visit this place. They reopened the restaurant on 16th June so I thought it would be chaotic but everything was perfect. I couldn’t fault the service

Excellent place to eat and drink. The food was fantastic. We had the menu de soir which offers great value for money. The only downside on the night was that we were sold a bottle of still water that we thought was going to be tap water. Service was excellent despite this inconvenience, and we would visit again without hesitation.

Amazing food, this is the first time I’ve been here and I was blown away by the taste and flavours of the chicken katsu curry.
The sushi is sooo good and fresh, I think it’s the best option in Leeds in this price range! Highly recommended! 🙂
Delicious chicken katsu curry, portions are large for takeout therefore a regular with one side is sufficient for me (a hungry train passenger!) Definitely recommend as the chicken katsu and chicken dumplings were truly scrumptious 😋
