What We Offer:

Empire Ink Edinburgh was established in 2017 by internationally awarded tattoo artist, Alex Rattray. Putting the studios together was a labour of love and every effort was made to create tattoo studios that reflected the quality of the tattoos that would be produced there. We operate at the highest level of hygienic standards. All of our equipment is single use and disposed of at the conclusion of every session. This eliminates the possibility of any cross-contamination between clients.

Had my first tattoo here (done by Virginia) and couldn’t be happier with the result! Amazing service from start to finish, the artists are incredible and the environment of the studio is great.
Simply magnificent. All artists are amazing – I got my 20th ink by LauraJane and despite a mammoth almost-7 hour session, I left on cloud 9. Superb work, advice, suggestions and banter. Planning my next already and this is definitely where I’m heading. Can’t praise Empire Ink highly enough.
Got tattooed by Laura Jane and had the best experience. All the staff were great and tattoo ended up even better than I could have expected.

David is a genius and am delighted with the tattoo. Have been wanting a portrait for years and delighted I was able to get David. Took time to discuss the design and offer great advice on size and location. Easy to chat to and the work speaks for itself.
